Blankets and Wine

Blankets & Wine was started in 2008 as a platform for the promotion, celebration and exposure of emerging live music. The monthly event series progressively evolved from a platform showcasing contemporary live  music into an Africa-wide, multi-disciplinary platform.

Under the banner of Blankets and Wine, the East African region has enjoyed live performances by top cast including Oliver Mtukudzi (Zimbabwe), Mafikizolo (South Africa), Mzungu Kichaa (Tanzania), Maurice Kirya (Uganda), Micasa (South Africa) as well as celebrated Kenyan acts such as Sauti Sol, Eric Wainaina, Harry Kimani, Nyota Ndogo among others.
