Moroto Town is located 420 kilometres northeast of Kampala City and it is the biggest town in Moroto District. Moroto is worth a  visit. The town is located at the slopes of a volcanic massive Mount Moroto. The surrounding savannah planes withhold a range of things to do in Moroto for everybody: hiking and trekking, cultural experiences, bicycle tours, bush walks and archeological tours.

There are several MICE activities that can be done in Moroto. The face of the town has recently been boosted by the newly built Hotel Africana, the first of its kind in the region.
